In the academic session 2019–20, Vishwanath Academy organised Parijaat 1.0, an inter-school cultural fest conceived as a vibrant platform for students to showcase their talents, express their creativity, and experience the spirit of healthy competition. The event brought together young minds from different schools, creating an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, artistic expression, teamwork and sportsmanship.
Parijaat 1.0 was envisioned as more than just a competition. It was an opportunity for students to step beyond their classrooms, discover their potential, interact with their peers, and celebrate the diverse talents that make every individual unique. Through a thoughtfully varied range of cultural, artistic and sporting activities, the fest encouraged students to explore their interests, build confidence and learn the value of participation.
Dance and Singing offered a stage for young performers to showcase their artistic expression, rhythm, musical abilities and confidence. These performances brought energy and vibrancy to the celebration, highlighting the importance of performing arts in the holistic development of students.
Collage Making encouraged participants to transform ideas into meaningful visual compositions. Through colours, textures and thoughtful arrangements, students demonstrated their imagination, creativity and ability to communicate ideas through art.
Art and Craft provided a space for innovation, originality and hands-on creativity. Participants explored artistic techniques and gave shape to their ideas, celebrating the joy of creating something unique.
The sporting events added another exciting dimension to Parijaat 1.0. Competitions in Volleyball and Table Tennis encouraged students to demonstrate their agility, coordination, concentration and competitive spirit. These events highlighted the importance of discipline, perseverance, teamwork and respect for opponents—qualities that extend far beyond the playing field.
